Part week breaks are accepted from November to Easter, minimum of 3 nights. In order to secure a reservation, a non-returnable 25 % deposit is payable at the time of booking, by cheque. The balance of the full cost of the holiday is due on arrival at Yellow Sands. Obviously, the balance can be sent beforehand if preferred. In the event of a cancellation, the hirer must advise us immediately, whereupon we will, without prejudice to our right to the balance in full, earnestly endeavor to re-let. If letting is possible the deposit will be returned. TO AVOID CANCELLATION LOSSES, WE ADVISE THE HIRER TO TAKE OUT HOLIDAY CANCELLATION INSURANCE (The Post Office offer a very competitive Travel/holiday insurance, a form can be picked-up at your local Post Office, and the policy received over the counter). The accommodation is available from 3.00 pm on the day of commencement of the holiday - and to be vacated on the day of departure by 10.00 am. Please adhere to these times, to enable us to complete servicing of the properties. In case we need to get hold of you, and you have a mobile phone, please write the number on the booking form – thank you. At no time can a property be occupied by more than the stated number i.e. 1 - 6 + baby, except by prior arrangement with the proprietors. We reserve the right to refuse admittance if this condition is not observed. (This also applies to guests inviting friends onto the premises to use facilities!) Parking is adjacent to each property for our guests, suitable to a maximum of 2 cars per property. Pet Owners PLEASE NOTE – Fewer and fewer accommodation providers are allowing pets in their properties, we do, but we do request the following - Pet dogs are welcome (Maximum 2 small) anytime except July & August School Holidays, provided they are not left unattended in or out of the accommodation or allowed onto furniture, especially in the bedrooms. We require pets blanket/basket to be brought!. Please notify us on booking if you intend to bring your dog. A surcharge of £20 per week per dog will be charged. Please note- that during the summer school holidays, we do not allow pets. All properties have a vacuum cleaner for guests convenience, and we do appreciate the use of it! Guests are responsible for the property during the period of hire and are expected to take all reasonable care of it. Please leave the property clean and tidy at the end of the holiday – including equipment and utensils. Any damage or breakage occurring to furniture/fittings must be reported in order for a repair or replacement to be made. The cost of serious damage will be the hirers’ responsibility
